Signup privacy

This notice applies to the 989Quad event-update list.

What we collect

We save your email address and a dated record of your signup permission. We also save a random unsubscribe token so you can stop future updates. We do not store your IP address in the signup database. The hosting platform processes requests and uses a short-lived rate limiter to protect the form.

How the list is used

Your permission is for 989Quad event announcements only, not other businesses’ marketing. Signing up does not purchase a ticket or unlock additional events. The Bash is our only announced event right now.

Storage and access

The list is stored in a dedicated Cloudflare database. There is no public list or email-lookup endpoint. Authorized site administrators can export signup requests to prepare event announcements. This form does not send a confirmation email or marketing messages automatically.

Text messages

If you join the text list, we save your mobile number, the first name you gave (if any) and a dated record of your permission. Texts come from 989Quad’s own number and are only about 989Quad events, a few times a month at most. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. We never sell or share your number. Text notice version: 2026-10-26-sms-v1.

Your choice

Signing up is optional. Future updates must include an unsubscribe link. Using that link stops inclusion in the event-update list; a record of your preference is retained so it can be respected. For help with a request, use the contact information on this site.
